Ecoplas Australia commenced its journey in 2020, sparked by our resonance with the ABC TV show "War on Waste." Our purpose is deeply rooted in fostering a sustainable future, achieved by crafting premium rural fencing products from locally sourced recycled plastic waste. Our aspiration envisions Ecoplas recycled plastic fence droppers becoming a staple in every rural fencing installation, with the ambitious aim of recycling over 100 tons of plastic waste annually. We take pride in being a sustainable fencing solution that champions the circular economy, transforming rural and domestic waste into reusable products within the same industry.
Our commitment is reflected in our exclusive use of 100% locally recycled plastic waste originating from South Australia and Victoria, primarily derived from milk bottles and bottle lids. These materials undergo granulation and blending with a UV stabilizer master-batch, ensuring the durability of the final product against Australia's harsh climate, resulting in its distinctive black color.
We have established a cutting-edge manufacturing facility equipped with two extruder lines, enabling us to promptly meet customer demands. Our range of products, including Droppers and Battens, undergoes meticulous measurement, weighing, and a final visual inspection during the stacking and wrapping process to uphold our rigorous quality standards.
Evidencing numerous advantages, our offerings are characterized by longevity, boasting a lifespan exceeding 40 years, easy recyclability, and suitability for electric fences. However, what garners the most attention from our clientele is the exceptional affordability, rendering our products a more cost-effective alternative compared to most other fencing droppers.
The feed plastic is weighed and blended to ensure that there is a consistent blend entering the process. 2% of UV stabiliser masterbatch is added to the mix to ensure the final product stand up to the harsh Australian weather. This gives our product it's black colour. The products are continually measured and weighed prior to a final visual inspection during stacking and wrapping. This ensures that the final product meets our strict quality standards.

Waste is only fully recycled once a new product is made from old waste and consumed by a customer again as a new product. Ideally each industry can recycle its own waste, but this is seldomly practical.
